2012 Software Training Workshops

Learn directly from Unidata developers at the training workshop.

The 2012 Unidata Software Training Workshops will be held October 22 - November 7 at the Unidata Program Center in Boulder, Colorado.

Unidata's training workshops are created and presented by the software developers and support staff for each package, so you can be sure to get your questions answered!

Registration for the workshops is open through September 10, 2012. More information is available on the Training Workshops page.

Unidata Bids Goodbye to the Anthes Building

UCAR Foothills Lab 4

The Unidata Program Center has spiffy new lodgings. Again!

After nearly a year of renovation and refurbishment, UCAR's Foothills Laboratory 4 is ready for occupancy. The Unidata Program Center is moving back to its (newly remodelled) space in the FL-4 building July 5-6, 2012. As a result, we may be slow to respond to phone calls and e-mail support questions during the transition. If all goes according to plan, we'll be in the new space beginning on Monday, July 9th. (Note, however, that most UPC staff will be attending the 2012 Unidata Users Workshop at NCAR's Mesa Lab the week of July 9th.)

Unidata Program Center Welcomes Lansing Madry

Lansing Madry

Lansing Madry joined the Unidata Program Center software development staff on April 23rd, 2012. Oddly enough, his previous office was across the street from Unidata's current quarters in the Anthes building of UCAR's Foothills Lab. There, Lansing consumed Unidata products while working for Precision Wind, a company that provides precise, high quality wind forecasts to wind farms.
