netCDF-Java version 5.5.3 released

The Unidata THREDDS development team released netCDF-Java 5.5.3 on July 5th, 2022; this release contains a number of security upgrades to third party libraries and a variety of bug fixes. For more information, please visit the GitHub release page. Artifacts from the 5.5.3 release can be obtained from our artifacts server following these instructions. ToolsUI and netCDFAll can be obtained from the downloads section of the Unidata website.

netCDF-Java version 5.5.2 released

The Unidata THREDDS development team released netCDF-Java 5.5.2 on January 5th, 2022; this release addresses an issue discovered in version 5.5.1 for users running JDK 8. For more information, please visit the GitHub release page at https://github.com/Unidata/netcdf-java/releases/tag/v5.5.2. netCDF-Java version 5.5.1 released

The Unidata THREDDS development ream released netCDF-Java 5.5.1 on December 20th, 2021. In addition to several bug fixes and dependency upgrades, this is the first version of netCDF-Java that has read support for the Zarr data model. netCDF-Java library version 5.4.2 Released

The Unidata THREDDS Development Team released version 5.4.2 of the netCDF-Java/Common Data Model (CDM) library on August 27th, 2020. The 5.4.2 includes various bug fixes, dependency upgrades (some related to security), build/doc infrastructure changes, and updates/improvements to GRIB reading capabilities.

netCDF-Java library version 5.4.1 Released

The Unidata THREDDS Development Team released version 5.4.1 of the netCDF-Java/Common Data Model (CDM) library on December 17th, 2020. The 5.4.1 release includes the first look at the public API, support for building with Java 11 - 14, and support for accessing data from object storage, such as AWS S3.
