Jaye Norman

Jaye Norman joined the NSF Unidata Program Center as a student summer intern on May 19, 2025. This fall, Jaye will be a Senior at North Carolina State University in Raleigh. After finishing her Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Jaye plans to attend graduate school for a Master's degree in Meteorology with a focus on numerical modeling.

Says Jaye:

These beginning weeks at Unidata have been amazing! Every day I've learned something new and found myself surrounded by kind, supportive, and knowledgeable staff. This is exactly why I was interested in working with Unidata: furthering my knowledge of meteorological software and its development while building a network of professionals to help me on this path.
