About the NSF Unidata Science Gateway
The NSF Unidata Science Gateway is a community-directed virtual hub to enable learning and support research for current and future Earth Systems Science students, educators, and professionals.
The Science Gateway is an actively evolving space. Our current offerings for individuals and classrooms include:
- The Education Hub, designed to be a single stop for all NSF Unidata learning resources
- Custom JupyterHub servers for university classes, workshops, and other projects
- A JupyterHub for individual community members including zero-install use of NSF Unidata's IDV and Raytheon's AWIPS CAVE for educational and research use
- Access to data servers such as THREDDS and AWIPS EDEX for Data Proximate Computing and general data access

Our Mission
The NSF Unidata Science Gateway brings together NSF Unidata and other technologies to centralize access, analysis, and visualization of critical Earth Systems Science data, powerful scientific computing environments, and vetted educational resources.
