Apologies on the delayed response.
CAPE is implemented as a direct integral over the environmental temperature
profile and the calculated parcel profile. Any error margin in the calculated
CAPE value is really the error margins from the original data, scaled by
metpy.constants.Rd since that's what converts the integrated temperature
difference to energy.
