Hi Amos, re: > Greetings from the tropics Hello! Not really. As far as I know, there is no full description of all of the products available in the GTS or in NOAAPort. The data products that are available through the McIDAS WXTLIST (wxtlist.k) command are ones that were sent in NOAAPort; these are undoubtedly a subset of the products that are available in the GTS. Unfortunately, we (Unidata Program Center) have no control over what the NWS chooses to take from the GTS and put into NOAAPort. The reason for this is that the contents of NOAAPort are determined by "NWS Operational needs" (NWS words, not mine). If they determine that something is not needed for the forecast offices, it is typically not included in NOAAPort. All of that being said, McIDAS has a configuration file that provides an insight into what is what for NOAAPort-delivered textual products. The configuration file can be listed using the SEE (see.k) utility: see.k WXCORE.PRD # Core McIDAS-Supported weather text products # Product Name Match Conditions # ---------------------- ---------------- ADMIN WMO=NO ADVISORY WMO=WW AGRICULTURE_FCST APRO=AGF AGRICULTURE_OBS APRO=AGO AGRICULTURE_WX_ADVISE APRO=AOA AIRCRAFT WMO=UA UB UT AIR_QUALITY APRO=AQI AIREP WMO=UA AIRMET WMO=WA AREA_FCST_DISC APRO=AFD AREA_FCST_PROD APRO=AFP AREA_WX_SUMMARY APRO=AWS AVALANCHE_BULLETIN APRO=SAB BUOY WMO=SS CLIMATE_LOCAL APRO=CLI CLIMATE_MONTHLY APRO=CLM CMAN_OBS WMO=SXUS20-22 COASTAL_MARINE_FCST APRO=CWF COAST_GUARD_REPORTS APRO=CGR CODED_CITY_FCST APRO=CCF CODED_CLIMATE_REPORT APRO=SCD CONVECTIVE_OUTLOOK WMO=ACUS0-3 DROPSONDE WMO=UZ DROUGHT_PROG_DISC APRO=PMD ASTN=DRO EARTHQUAKE APRO=EQR ETA_OUTPUT WMO=FOUS60-78 WSTN=KWNO ETA_OUTPUT_EASTUS WMO=FOUS60-64 WSTN=KWNO ETA_OUTPUT_CENTUS WMO=FOUS65-71 WSTN=KWNO ETA_OUTPUT_WESTUS WMO=FOUS72-73 WSTN=KWNO ETA_OUTPUT_CANADA WMO=FOUS74-76 WSTN=KWNO ETA_GUIDANCE WMO=FOUS44-49 WSTN=KWBC KWNO NAM_OUTPUT WMO=FOUS60-78 WSTN=KWNO NAM_OUTPUT_EASTUS WMO=FOUS60-64 WSTN=KWNO NAM_OUTPUT_CENTUS WMO=FOUS65-71 WSTN=KWNO NAM_OUTPUT_WESTUS WMO=FOUS72-73 WSTN=KWNO NAM_OUTPUT_CANADA WMO=FOUS74-76 WSTN=KWNO NAM_GUIDANCE WMO=FOUS44-49 WSTN=KWBC KWNO EXTENDED_FCST_DISC APRO=PMD ASTN=EPD EXTENDED_FCST_PROD APRO=EFP EXTENDED_LOCAL_FCST APRO=EOL FIRE_DANGER_STATEMENT APRO=RFD FLASH_FLOOD_GUIDANCE APRO=FFG FLASH_FLOOD_STATEMENT APRO=FFS FLOOD_OUTLOOK APRO=ESF FLOOD_STATEMENT APRO=FFS FLOOD_WARNING APRO=FLW FLOOD_WATCH APRO=FFA FOUS14 WMO=FOUS14 FREE_TEXT_MSGS APRO=FTM FRONT_ANAL WMO=ASUS1 WSTN=KWBC FRONT_ANALHR WMO=ASUS2 WSTN=KWBC FRONT_FCST WMO=FSUS2 WSTN=KWBC FRUIT_FROST APRO=FRF GFS_GUIDANCE WMO=FOUS21-26 FOAK37-39 FOPA20 WSTN=KWBC KWNO GREAT_LAKES_FCST APRO=GLF SIG_HAZARDOUS_WX APRO=HWU HAZARDOUS_WX APRO=HWU HEMISPHERIC_MAP_DISC APRO=PMD ASTN=HMD HIGH_SEAS_FCST APRO=HSF HOURLY_WX_ROUNDUP APRO=SWR HURRICANE_WARNING WMO=WT WC HYDROLOGIC_DATA APRO=RR1 RR2 RR3 RR4 RR5 RR6 RR7 RR8 RR9 LAKE_ICE WMO=SV LOCAL_FCST APRO=LFP LOCAL_STORM_REPORT APRO=LSR LOW_LEVEL_SOUNDING APRO=LLS MARINE_REPORT APRO=OMR MARINE_WX_STATEMENT APRO=MWS MINIMUM_TEMP_GUIDANCE APRO=UAG NATIONAL_FLOOD_SUMMARY APRO=FLN NEAR_SHORE_FCST APRO=NSF NGM_GUIDANCE WMO=FOUS14 NGM_OUTPUT WMO=FOUS80-90 WSTN=KWNO NGM_OUTPUT_EASTUS WMO=FOUE60-64 FOUE80 WSTN=KWNO KWNO NGM_OUTPUT_CENTUS WMO=FOUM65-71 FOUM81-82 WSTN=KWNO KWNO NGM_OUTPUT_WESTUS WMO=FOUW72-73 FOUW83 WSTN=KWNO KWNO NGM_TRAJECTORY_FCST WMO=FOUS50-57 WSTN=KWNO NON_PRECIP_ADVISORY APRO=NPW NOWCAST APRO=NOW OFF_SHORE_AIR_FCST APRO=OFA OFF_SHORE_MAR_FCST APRO=OFF PAN_AMERICAN_TEMPS APRO=TPT PIREP WMO=UA UB PROGNOSTIC_DISCUSSION APRO=PMD ASTN=EPD QUANTITATIVE_PRECIP APRO=QPF RADAR WMO=SD RADAR_OBS APRO=ROB RADAR_NARRATIVE APRO=RNS RAIN_REPORTS APRO=RRM RAOB WMO=UD UE UF UG UH UI UJ UK UL UM UP UQ US RECORD_WX_REPORT APRO=RER RECREATION_FCST APRO=REC REGIONAL_TEMP_SUMMARY WMO=ABUS21-26 WSTN=KWBC REGIONAL_TEMP_PREC APRO=RTP REGIONAL_WX_SUMMARY APRO=RWS RIVER WMO=SR RW RG RIVER_FCST APRO=RVM RVR RIVER_STAGE APRO=RVA RIVER_VALLEY APRO=RVF ROAD_REPORT APRO=STO SAT_CLEAR_RAD WMO=TR SAT_INTERP_MSG APRO=SIM SAT_ORBIT WMO=TB SAT_PRECIP_ESTIMATE APRO=SPE SAT_WINDS WMO=TW SEA_ICE WMO=ST SEISMIC WMO=SE SEISMIC_ACTIVITY APRO=SEI SELECTED_CITIES_FCST APRO=SCS SEVERE_WX_TABLE APRO=STA SFC_HOURLY WMO=SA SP SHIP WMO=SM SN SI SIGMET APRO=SIG SPECIAL_WX_STATEMENT APRO=SPS STATE_FCST_PROD APRO=SFP STATE_FCST_DISC APRO=SFD STATE_MAX_MIN_TEMP APRO=STP STATE_WX_SUMMARY APRO=SWS STORM_SUMMARY APRO=SCC SEVERE_WX_STATEMENT APRO=SVS SEVERE_WX_OUTLOOK APRO=SWO SEVERE_WX_WATCH_DISC WMO=WWUS9 SEVERE_WX_WATCH_OUTLINE WMO=WOUS64 SEVERE_WX_WATCH_UPDATE WMO=WWUS8 SYNOPTIC WMO=SM SN SI THREATS_PROG_DISC APRO=PMD ASTN=THR TORNADO_WARNING APRO=TOR TSTORM_WARNING APRO=SVR TSUNAMI WMO=WE TRAVELERS_FCST APRO=TAV TVL TROPICAL_WX_DISC APRO=TWD TROPICAL_WX_OUTLOOK APRO=TWO VOLCANO WMO=WV WATCH WMO=WW WATCH_CLEAR_MESSAGE APRO=WCM WATER_SUPPLY_OUTLOOK APRO=ESS WEEKLY_CROP_REPORT APRO=WGR WINDS_ALOFT_FCST APRO=FD1 FD2 FD3 FD4 FD5 FD6 FD7 FD8 FD9 WINTER_WX_WATCH APRO=WSW ZONE_FCST APRO=ZFP SEE: Done...EOF Encountered.
