The current release (1.0.2) of the Integrated Data Viewer (IDV) can be
used to display Level II WSR-88D data.  We are in the process of
putting together a beta version of the next release (1.1) which
adds more functionality (isosurfaces, computed RHIs, volume
displays) for Level II data.  That beta release will be out the
first week of November.

The IDV is a Java application, so it runs on any platform
that supports java and Java 3D (Windows, Solaris (SPARC),
Linux, AIX, SGI, HP (the last three only with certain
configurations)).  You can check out more information at:

If you know Dan Bramer at UIUC, he can help you get
started.  Dan has used and done some development on the IDV.
