Hello,
You will need to replace `$DIR` with the appropriate directory for your wrf
installation. I'm afraid I don't have any hands-on experience with wrf, so you
may need to contact the wrf support and community resources from their website,
http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/users/ .
I'm sorry I can't be more immediate help, but hopefully this information is
