This is the binary for the LDM-McIDAS package:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packges/mcidas/mcidd

It is not the binary for the LDM.  We do not have an LDM binary that is
specific for Linux running the 2.4 kernel.  If you need a build
specifically for that release (depending on your OS, a different binary
may work fine), you would do better to build your own binary from
source:

ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/ldm5/ldm.tar.Z

This is a link to the most recent LDM release, Version 5.1.4.

We will be producing binaries for the Linux 2.4 kernel systems for the
upcoming 5.1.5 release of the LDM.  I can't, however, give you a specific
target date for this release; sorry.
