Well, the good news is that I can recreate this problem on my Linux 9
box. Somehow, this got missed in testing. I'm not sure exactly what
the problem is but if I run the 1.0.1 code against Java 1.4.2 instead
of 1.3.1 (which is what we shipped with 1.0.1), the problem goes away.
So, I'm guessing that it is a Java related problem, not an IDV problem.

So, what are your options?

1) Upgrade to IDV 1.1 b2. This is a much more stable release and
has more functionality than 1.0.1 in regards to Level II radar.

2) If you want to still use 1.0.1, then download the 1.1 beta 2
IDV release and install it. Change the runIDV script in the
1.0.1 directory to point to the jre directory in the 1.1 beta 2
directory. For example, if you install 1.1 beta 2 at the
same level as 1.0.1, you could change runIDV to be:

../IDV_1.1b2/jre/bin/java -Xmx512m -jar idv.jar

We shipped 1.4.2 with IDV 1.1b2. I would suggest upgrading
though unless you need to stay at 1.0.1.

That's what we're here for. ;-)
