[IDD #HUE-367764]: LDM Access denied.

First, I drove your post to the ldm-users email list into our inquiry
tracking system.

Two things here:

- there is no forward DNS (name -> IP address) for the name

- 10.x.x.x addresses are not public

  What is the public IP of this machine?

Since there is forward and reverse DNS for this machine, it should
be able to REQUEST IDD feeds from idd.unidata.ucar.edu. You can
test this as follows:

<as 'ldm'>
notifyme -vl- -f ANY -h idd.unidata.ucar.edu

Success will be indicated by output that looks something like:

~: notifyme -vl- -f ANY -h idd.unidata.ucar.edu
20201022T221137.618945Z notifyme[16626]             notifyme.c:main:363

{{ANY, ".*"}}
20201022T221137.628706Z notifyme[16626]             ldm5_clnt.c:forn5:460
        NOTE  LDM-5 desired product-class: 20201022221137.618732 TS_ENDT {{ANY,
20201022T221137.637894Z notifyme[16626]             error.c:err_log:236

        NOTE  NOTIFYME(idd.unidata.ucar.edu): OK

The line with the 'OK' shows that the upstream LDM server is ALLOWing
your request, and a 'notifyme' connection is the same as a REQUEST
in the LDM configuration file, ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf.
