He also noted that we were working on resetting the receiver and aligning the dish to point at the new satellite that WSI is using (GE-1). We set the receiver and tried to align the dish this afternoon. As Robb pointed out in his email, "the new satellite alignment might have obstacles blocking the its path". We believe that this is, in fact, the case. Our dish is located very close to the east wall here at FL-4. It appears that GE-1's position (103 W longitude) is just far enough west that our building obstructs our view. We will check this again tomorrow, but it doesn't look good. If it is determined that the building is an obstacle, folks will have to decide if it is worth moving the dish, or if it is cheaper to unsubscribe from the WSI service. Sorry for the bad news...
