[Datastream #CZV-308644]: Fwd: NEXRAD on AWS outage

Hi Chris,

Thanks. The metrics you sent will help, if nothing else, me knowing another
time I need to backfill into the archive.

We're not much closer to understanding the problem, as all our instances in
us-east-1 show the sporadic network issues maintaining data flow from the
LDM--but not severe enough network issues to completely bring down
connectivity. Based on testing yesterday, these problems are not shared by
us-west-2. We are looking, then, at spinning up a full new instance in another
region to serve as a workaround (it's not optimal since the data are uploading
to S3 in us-east-1).

In the meanwhile, it looks like data continue to flow fine for now.

Ryan
