In case you missed it — here's a recap of news from the Unidata Program Center for the month of December, 2018.

Happy New Year, everyone! We're looking forward to seeing you at the AMS meeting in Phoenix next week. We'll be in booth 416 in the exhibit hall — keep your eye out later this week for a schedule detailing times when Unidata folks will be doing demos of specific technologies in the booth. Stop by any time if you're looking for data, or just for a chat. We'll also be at table C-8 at the Student Career Fair on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Unidata Staff at AMS 2019 Meeting

06 December 2018

Members of the Unidata Program Center staff will be attending the 99th annual American Meteorology Society meeting, 6-10 January 2019 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Unidata will be in Booth 416 in the exhibit hall; feel free to stop by to talk with us. The booth will feature live, hands-on demonstrations of Unidata software and services, including a look at the current state of the AWIPS, IDV, MetPy, and THREDDS Data Server packages. Come and talk with the developers about what's coming up and what you'd like to see.

Read on for a schedule that lists selected sessions at which Unidata staff (and summer interns) will be presenting or attending. Unidata will also be at table C-8 at the Student Conference Career Fair, on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Unidata Staff at AGU Fall 2018 Meeting

20 November 2018

Members of the Unidata Program Center staff will be attending the American Geophysical Union 2018 Fall meeting, December 10-14 2018, in Washington, DC. The schedule below lists specific sessions at which UPC staff will be presenting or in attendance. See the AGU Fall meeting Scientific Program for additional information on the sessions.

In addition to the talks and poster sessions listed below, Unidata staff will be spending time at the UCAR Community Programs CPAESS and EarthCube booths in the Exhibit Hall (#911 and #912) There will be scheduled demonstrations of AWIPS and the IDV, or just stop by to chat!
