[netCDF #WQW-758201]: NetCDF install failure

First, thank you for providing the link; I was unaware those older instructions
still persisted, and will remove them. The documentation you're interest in
would be at http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/docs. I will make sure
they don't have the same error, but I *believe* it was corrected already.

Regarding the error you are seeing; it appears that `m4` is failing when trying
to generate the netcdf man page. This is unusual, but unfortunately I don't
have access to a solaris system to test for this myself. What version of m4
are you running, and is it possible to update it? If not, you may need to copy
the library to the appropriate location manually; I'm not certain how else to
work around this issue. I will look into this on my end as well and see if
there is a solaris system which I can try to replicate this issue on.

Thank you,
