The above message contained the following:

> program 300029 version 6 ready and waiting

Then a downstream LDM on Hawaii should be able to connect to an upstream
LDM on Mahele.

What do the following emit when executed on Hawaii by the LDM user?

    ldmping -i0 -h mahele
    notifyme -vl- -h mahele

You will have to kill (control-C) the last command to stop it.

What are the entries in the LDM configuration-file on Mahele that allow a
downstream LDM on Hawaii to request data?

What version of the LDM is running on Mahele?

Steve Emmerson
