We have some users reported the problem of running IDV after upgrading the Mac OS to Ventura or Sonoma. We are still try to understand this problem and no solution at this moment. One thing you can try is to remove or rename the .unidata folder and run the IDV again. If the problem not going away, I would encourage you to submit a report to the Apple through the "Feedback Assistant" in your Mac as we feel like it is related to the newer version of Mac OS. I did submit one report but the IDV works well on my Mac works well so the Apple developer can not get too much information in my report. Another thing you can do is helping us gathering the log information of your Mac. Please download the attached, unzip this file and follow the instruction in README.txt and send the output log files.
