[IDV #MKR-443485]: stereo support on idv 5.0



Hi Al,

The Java 3D API, currently maintained in limited capacity (at best), has fewer
and fewer open-source contributors as the years pass. Therefore, I am not
terribly optimistic this will ever see the light of day again. Nevertheless, the
mailing list thread referenced below does have some new information concerning
this topic as of last year though requiring workarounds that would have to be
tested with the IDV.
