Gerry,

Two things:

- there is no remote server for NEXRAD Level II data, so it needs to be
  accessible locally

- the IDV can display the uncompressed Level II data, but not the
  bzip2 compressed files

If you want to use the IDV with the Level II data, you will need to
have an action (already contained in ~ldm/etc/pqact.gempak_craft.tamu,
but commented out) that uses dcnexr2 to create uncompressed output.

I'm snagging the data via scp from bigfoot to handle decoding
appropriately... For some reason, IDV wouldn't work via NFS, although
it could see the directory and all the files. I'll keep playing w/ it.

Thanks,
Gerry
