[LDM #HHO-369434]: GOES-15 data stopped

Hi Mike,

re:
> Goes-15 imagery stopped coming through UNIWISC feed on 9-20-2019.

A quick check of UNIWISC imagery available via the ADDE server on
lead.unidata.ucar.edu shows current GOES-15 sectors and a listing
shows GOES-15 images for at least the past 2 days. Here is a
McIDAS listing of the GOES-15 IR sector availability on lead:

Moreover, the real-time statistics volume plot for the UNIWISC
feed on a randomly chosen real-server back end of our top level
IDD relay cluster, idd.unidata.ucar.edu shows a consistent volume
over the same time period:

http://rtstats.unidata.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/rtstats/iddstats_vol_nc?UNIWISC+node4.unidata.ucar.edu

This strongly suggests that the problem is not one of data availability,
but, rather, local receipt or processing.

re:

The latest announced schedule for termination of GOES-15 surveillance is
December 31, 2019. It "feels" like this target will actually be met, but
the fact that they have changed the turn off date previously leads to
a healthy skepticism that the decommissioning will actually occur.

re:
> We have generally

The real-time volume statistics for the UNIWISC feed on both titan and vulcan
match the volume on the randomly chose idd.unidata.ucar.edu node I listed
above:

vulcan:
http://rtstats.unidata.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/rtstats/iddstats_vol_nc?UNIWISC+vulcan.science.sjsu.edu

titan:
http://rtstats.unidata.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/rtstats/iddstats_vol_nc?UNIWISC+titan.met.sjsu.edu

This suggests that the problem is somewhere in the local processing of the
UNIWISC
GOES-15 imagery.
