Eric,
Linda Miller and Jeff Weber have been the people coordinating the
CMC feed requests, so I'll let them provide any information
they have regarding the usage and availability of extended forecast times.
This is a direct feed from CMC, so they can decide who they
want to send the feed to, its retrictions, and its contents. I believe that
the original intent was for research and educational use, but you can verify
that
with your CMC contacts. I'd guess that any feedback you can provide them with
the usefulness of the data and desire for more would be quite useful
for their justification.
