Hi Mike, 

A couple of things...The feed that is late [HDS] is the one rossby is
requesting via IP..coincidence..maybe.

I was going to go into aeolus /etc/hosts file and implicitly add rossby so
we do not have any DNS overhead, but am also thinking we may want to rule
out a variable first.

Is there any way you can have your sysadmin shut down packetshaper for 30
minutes or so, and we can watch the HDS feed for that time period.

I remember you saying that packetshaper was only monitoring traffic, but
it could still be a player..and I would like to eliminate that variable if
possible..
