2021-09-15 09:32:43 EDT - Tony SalemiAdditional comments Decoder group relayed the following: "We're fine with adjusting the monitoring for this particular feed. SCSC is the WMO originator for Santiago (Chile), and this product normally contains aircraft data from South America. As Mitch noted, we don't have any specific information on what may have recently changed with respect to this feed or why. But it's not a super-critical data source, and if it's now causing BB to be in a constant state of alert, then we're fine with adjusting it. Tony, perhaps you could just increase the start alert threshold for this entry in /gpfs/iodprod_dell/bbprod/etc/bb-decoders to a much larger number than 30 (minutes)? Based on a review of the last week's worth of decoder logs, maybe something like 720 (i.e. 12 hours) would be a better threshold, so that going forward it only triggers an alert for a really long outage that's more out of an outlier?" At the recommendation of the decoder group, the monitoring has been adjusted to account for the change in distribution.

2021-09-15 06:58:44 EDT - Tony SalemiAdditional comments From Rich R. in DM: " It seems that the data has stopped on 09/14 /2021 @ 23:17:18Z. The source is from line 245 (NOAA, NWS, Earth System Research Laboratory, Global Systems Division (GSD), MADIS - MDCRS data). You may adjust the monitoring of this WMO Header for IUAI01 SCSC." Dataflow will not adjust monitoring until TC receives a response from GSD stating if this product has changed in it's frequency.
