You will know when v20 is a production release because it will be listed 
directly on our
installation homepage (not as a beta):
http://unidata.github.io/awips2/install/install-cave/

And it will have a version number like this:
20.3.2-x (where x is greater than 1.)  Currently x is 0.1, so it is a beta.
