NSF Unidata Staff at AMS 2026 Meeting
Members of the NSF Unidata Program Center staff will be attending the 106th annual American Meteorology Society meeting, to be held 25-29 January 20256 in Houston, TX. The schedule below lists sessions or posters presented by staff members. We'll also be spending time in the UCAR/NSF NCAR/UCP booth (#119) in the main Exhibit hall (map).
Student Conference Career Resource and Graduate School Fair
The AMS student conference is intended for junior and senior undergraduates and all graduate students, and will focus on interdisciplinary topics and wide-ranging opportunities in the atmospheric and related sciences. Sessions include invited speakers from the private, academic, and government sectors. A Career Resource Fair and networking evening is scheduled to provide a forum for students to personally interact with professionals who represent potential employers and graduate institutions.
NSF Unidata will be sharing table T-39 at the Career Resource and Graduate School Fair with the UCAR Community Program CPAESS. The fair runs from 5:30 - 7:30pm Saturday, January 25 and 7:00 - 9:00pm Sunday, January 26 in Hall B3. Program Center staff will be on hand to discuss our summer internship opportunities and how NSF Unidata products can help students in their education, forecasting, and research. Come visit us!
