ESIP: Student Fellowships

The Federation of Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) is an open networked community that brings together science, data and information technology practitioners around Earth science issues.

ESIP is currently accepting applications for the 2015 ESIP Student Fellows. Graduate students and post-docs selected as ESIP Student Fellows will be interested in bridging the gap between informatics, technology and Earth Science and applying research to real-world problems. This fellowship provides students a chance to work closely with professionals in an interdisciplinary, cross-sector group on current Earth Science problems. The students will become engaged in their respective group as rapporteurs, documenting the work of the group on the monthly telecons and at the semi-annual meetings (Summer/Winter). Student Fellows will receive a stipend of $2000 plus travel expenses to the Summer and Winter ESIP meetings.

Applications are due October 8. For the full details see the ESIP Student Fellowship website.
