[netCDF #ISL-204287]: problem installing netcdf with pgi compiler

Sorry this has taken so long to answer.

We tested a platform similar to this using FC=pgf77 and F90=pgf90, without 
setting the F77 environment variable.  The output of the build is here:

Unfortunately, the attachment doesn't seem to have arrived with your message.  
Could you try sending the attachment again or just cut and paste the config.log 
file in your message as text?
