Re: 20000126: Gempak to PC X display


obviously, I could not see as clearly as you.  (I thought so but needed a
push in the right direction).  Anyway I've reconfigured the xs/w for 8-bit
and works properly.  Thanks again!   Glenn

Glenn,

you can see from your xdpyinfo, that the default visual id is 0x20.
Just below that is the information for visual id 0x20 which states
that the class is TrueColor and depth is 24 bits.

You must configure your X software on your PC so that the default
visual is like 0x21, PseudoColor 8 bits.
