Hello nc-config --cflags allows you to determine what the appropriate values for CFLAGS are, when building against libnetcdf. For example, if I were configuring a program which I had written, using a `configure` script, to link against netCDF at compile time, I would use it as follows: $ CFLAGS=$(nc-config --cflags) LDFLAGS=$(nc-config --libs) ./configure [other options specific to my setup] Where $(nc-config --cflags) passes the output of the command to the environmental variable, CFLAGS. I hope this helps clarify things, thanks! -Ward > Hi, > > I'm working on building NetCDF for a customer and am wondering if you know > what this flag does, if anything.
