[LDM #HGA-979100]: Local Data Manager software

Kevin,

> 10-4, thanks Steve! The steps I would need to do are:
> - Have a linux server

Yes. The Linux system could be either native or as a host O/S inside a virtual
machine (we do both).

> - Download and install LDM

Yes. The LDM code is highly portable and should work on any Linux system.

Installation and configuration instructions (and other useful information) can
be found at
<https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm/ldm-current/basics/index.html>.

> - Review the data feed from NOAA

Probably. We're not aware of NOAA/NWS sending radar data in GRIB format, for
example.

> Are there any other configuration changes I would need to make in LDM?

We don't know your setup, but you might need an LDM decoder to process the
data-products into something you can use.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions (but, please, do read the
webpages :-).

Regards,
Steve Emmerson
