Pavel, 

Once you have made a change to the ldmd.conf you must:

ldmadmin stop

ps -ef | grep ldm 

and make sure ALL processes have stopped 

then

ldmadmin start

Otherwise the changes do not take affect..

Just an idea, you may have done this...
