Hi Randy,

It does take a lot of memory to read in and display 3D and 4D
datasets. One of the modifications in either the currently released
IDV or a beta is the ability to read in just the level(s) that you want
instead of loading in an entire volume. This dramatically cuts down on
memory usage, so it is something that you will want to checkout.

Are the displays you are interested in 2D or 3D?

Yes. You should send your questions to address@hidden.
These inquiries will be answered by our IDV gurus, Don Murray (who I
believe you know) and Jeff McWhirter. It is best to get the answers
you seek directly from the developers!

>Thanks,

No worries.

Cheers,

Tom
