Hi Randy,

> Another quick status update later on Saturday morning...

Here is a comparison of the Feb 20 18Z and Feb 21 0Z file sizes from
your machine and from motherlode.ucar.edu (the main Unidata THREDDS server):

noaapxcd motherlode name
----------+-----------+----------------------------------------------
2686377733 2686377733 GFS_Global_1p0deg_Ensemble_00_2009022100.grib2
2682614912 2682614912 GFS_Global_1p0deg_Ensemble_18_2009022000.grib2

As you can see, the file sizes are identical. Presumably the file
contents are identical as well.

So, the change in your Internet connection has resulted in marked improvement
as far as LDM/IDD data ingestion from machines outside of your LAN!

Cheers,

Tom
