20000821: Time off

Harry,

these products arrived from wunderground.com (you can verify this using the
-O flag with pqcat). The time on their machine is approximately correct
(within 5 seconds).

What you are seeing is that noaaport.unidata.ucar.edu was taken down
for a new LDM version this morning. During that time, motherlode
did not receive products from that machine, so it had to receive them from
the IDD via SSEC and wunderground.com. These products were received from
NOAAPORT at the 1747Z time which the product time stamp below shows- the
products
arrived at motherlode with about 24 minutes of latency.

At present, we are seeing products arrive from wunderground with no latency,
so things have caught up on that end, and noaaport.unidata.ucar.edu is receiving
data now as well:

Aug 21 19:02:05 pqcat: noaaport.unidata.ucar.edu
   75 20000821190201.296 IDS|DDPLUS 161 SRUS73 KDMX 211901 /pRR7ALO

The one site that is not currently ingesting satellite data is SSEC,
which when available should provide a better backup than wunderground for
lesser latencies when the local UCAR receiver is not ingesting data.
