[Datastream #MQU-657040]: L2 products sent in NIMAGE

Hi,

No worries.

To be clear:

- we will be distributing in NIMAGE what is already in the NOAAPort
SBN, but the products will have been processed to remove NOAAPort broadcast
headers and footers and the ABI L2 tiles will be stitched together to make
  full image scenes

- the GLM L2 product is the first of what we hope will be many "value added"
  L2 products

This is _not_ the same as the GLM L2 product that is in the GRB.

The product is being created at Texas Tech by Eric Bruning who, aside
from being on the Unidata User's Committee, is a member of the NOAA
  science team for GLM.

I am assuming that the numbers listed are coverages.

More comments:

- I am assuming that the PR next to the CMIP product represents
a coverage other than the standard GRB ABI coverages of
  FullDisk, CONUS, Mesoscale-1 and Mesoscale-2

If this is the case, you need to add AK (Alaska) and HI (Hawaii
as those coverages are included in the sets for GOES-17/West.
I should have advised you to also check the GRB17/Products directory,
  sorry.

- the other comment is that the set of L2 products in NOAAPort is
likely to change at some point

There are some products that have never been sent, but are "on the
list" (where the list is and what other ones are on the list I can
not remember at this point), so they may well show up eventually.
There are others, like the Legacy products that may well be removed
at some point. We'll see what NOAA decides to do in the future.

Other than that, it is interesting to see the comparison for the difference
in the set of L2 products available from the PD versus what NOAA is
sending in NOAAPort!
