CAVE is a very heavy graphics dependent software and multiple issues arise when
running remotely. There are limitations even when running CAVE in a Virtual
Machine (for example satellite RGB products will not load because of the
graphics limitations). We have provided CAVE installs for multiple operating
systems (linux has the most functionality). With CAVE running locally, it can
connect to a remote EDEX.
