[AWIPS #AEJ-967615]: Problems with data loading on AWIPS II CAVE

What gets printed out when you run the following command?:
more /etc/resolv.conf

I think it's still having some sort of network connection.
Also, I appreciate you having the patience to stick with this. I'm also working 
on 
trying to create a VM that is already set up so that you and others can just 
download it and run CAVE.  Without having to go through this process yourself.
