About the NSF Unidata Learning Program

The NSF Unidata Learning Program is managed by the NSF Unidata Community Services Group. We serve Earth Systems Science students, educators, and researchers by providing relevant, fit-for-purpose learning experiences. Our goal is to support the community's advancement through the creation of accessible, high-quality materials and services in addition to project collaboration and university partnerships.
What we offer

Facilitated Experiences
Facilitated experiences occur in real time with an instructor, coach, or facilitator. These experiences include instructor-led training and workshops in virtual, in-person, or hybrid modalities. NSF Unidata may act as a facilitator, or we offer instructor guides for anyone to facilitate at their own institution.

Self-Paced Experiences
Self-paced learning experiences are available online on-demand. These include self-paced eLearning, videos, blogs, and Jupyter notebooks, among other digital resources.

Blended Experiences
Blended experiences use multiple approaches to achieve learning goals, often a combination of facilitated and self-paced experiences. View the digital brochure for examples.
