The 2022 AGU Fall Meeting will be held 12-16 December 2022 in Chicago, IL. This year the Education section will include a session that may be of special interest to Unidata community members: “ED013. Education and Workforce Development for Convergence and Data Sciences in the Era of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.”
The abstract submission deadline for the 18th Annual AMS Student Conference (5-6 January 2019) is approaching! The theme is “Weathering Together: Building a Climate of Diverse Community Perspectives.” All current AMS student members are encouraged to submit their abstracts for the conference poster session by 2 October 2018.

The American Meteorological Society's Board on Environmental Information Processing Technologies (EIPT) wants to let you know that the submission deadline for EIPT papers and posters is 8 August 2018. The conference is soliciting papers and posters a variety of topics including:

Application of autonomous observing platforms
Cloud computing for environmental data processing
Crowdsourcing tools for gathering and distributing data

This year the Earth and Space Science Informatics (ESSI) section will include several sessions that may be of special interest to Unidata community members interested in bringing new workflows and increased engagment in cyberinfrastructure efforts to the geosciences.
