GOES-9 continues its move to 135 West at 0.94 deg/day. The stop maneuver is set
for January 21 at 07Z.   Users should expect a navigation degradation
for 24 hours following the maneuver.

 The image motion compensation (IMC) system will be enabled on Monday,
January 22, at 1545Z. All images following that time will be corrected to
the perfect GOES
projection at 135 degrees West. 

The final 135W grid data base was installed on 1/11.
