Howdy Guys! I am trying to build the beta release on a HPUX system. It is old, but it did manage to build the 3/10 snapshot release of HDF5. However, it will not build the beta release. I get this message: cc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I/home/ed/local/tweety/include -UNDEBUG -DH5D_DEBUG -DH5E_DEBUG -DH5F_DEBUG -DH5G_DEBUG -DH5HG_DEBUG -DH5I_DEBUG -DH5MM_DEBUG -DH5O_DEBUG -DH5P_DEBUG -DH5S_DEBUG -DH5T_DEBUG -DH5V_DEBUG -DH5Z_DEBUG -DH5_DEBUG_API -Ae -Wp,-H65536 -g +O2 -g -c H5Tconv.c -Wp,-M.deps/H5Tconv.TPlo -o H5Tconv.o cc: H5T_conv_llong_int(): error 6350: Out of memory. Check kernel maxdsiz parameter and swap space configured. (6350) make[1]: *** [H5Tconv.lo] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp_mnt/home/ed/downloads/hdf5-1.8.0-beta1/src' make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 Have you guys seen this before? I am not too familar with this platform. I will talk to my sysadmin about the swap space, and see what the maxdsiz parameter is all about. But I thought you guys might have seen this too... Thanks!
