I can create some HDF5 files from WRF-HDF5 IO modules. I will let you know

You can try working with the HDF5 files in the tools/testfiles directory
of our distribution, there's lots of weird files in there. The only "real-
world" one is the tsaf.h5 file, though.
Bob and/or Kent can probably point you at lots of real HDF5 files from
that would be useful, Bob or Kent do you know of any good sites??
