We received no data for about 40 minutes. We're getting data now (started about 1920Z) but its very noisy. The BER is in the 10e-3 range.
Yes, me too. I have a 3.8 meter dish, slightly blocked at the bottom, so it's more like 3.7 meters. My stats as of 19:32Z:
RF Status --------------------------------------- Symbol Rate 6.349000 Msps Frequency 1193.500000 LO Frequency 5150 VBER 1.1341e-02 <---this should be zero Viterbi Rate 7 LNB Power ON Polarization 1 Band 0 Long Line 0 Hi Voltage Mode 0 Signal Strength 80 DemodGain 76 C/N 100.000000 Signal Lock 1 Data Lock 1 Uncorrectables 127 Noise Estimate 13 Clock Offset 98 Frequency Error 0 ADC Midpoint Crossing 16 ADC Clipping Count 255 Digital Gain 0 Clamping Count 0 Yep, something is interfering with it big time. I am now seeing noisy data (small sized files only getting through) as well. ******************************************************************************* Gilbert Sebenste ******** (My opinions only!) ****** Staff Meteorologist, Northern Illinois University **** E-mail: sebenste@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx *** web: http://weather.admin.niu.edu ** *******************************************************************************
