...nah, no Linux for me on the Ops boxes :)..at least until Sun messes up
Solaris x86 again which is probably inevitable.. but I am sure it will be just
fine on the PDI box. I have heard good things from several folks.

We've been running CentOS for years. And have had virtually no problem
with it for LDM and Gempak. I know you won't be happy (;-) but I suspect
you'll be relatively pleased with the performance.
