     I'm not piping the incoming files through anything - just saving them in 
the incoming format:

NNEXRAD ^SDUS[23578]. .... ([0-3][0-9])([0-2][0-9])([0-6][0-9]).*/p(...)(...)
        FILE    -close  -overwrite
