I installed all of the ISO8859* fonts and it did not fix the error.

found I always need to install on RHEL6 (I realize you are running
CENT OS 6.2) through the add/remove software tool - all "ISO8859-x-y"
font packages where "x" is 9,14 and 15 and "y" is 75 and 100 dpi. I
