The National Hurricane Center has found running NAWIPS under Red Hat 5.0
32/64 architectures to be very unstable and unacceptable for operations.

We will do more testing during the off season.

By the way, I installed from the pre-compiled binaries. Initially, the NAWIPS 
applications would not start due to a missing library file (libXm.so.2), but I 
was able to obtain the RPM containing it.
