This seems to work pretty well.

We got the package sometime ago from
* wuarchive.wustl.edu (128.252.135.4),
  directory /graphics/graphics/packages/NetPBM

Hi David,

I used to do it that way, but never got it to work quite right on my printer. 
It comes with RedHat 7.3, but I didn't have the commands as you have them. I'll 
give it a try and see how it goes.
