Dear Robb,
I try to convert a Gribfile to NetCDF with gribtocdl and gribtonc but it
doesnot work, because gribtocdl produce inconsitent values for lon. The
Grid is 51x51 by 0.2 degree stepps. The Grid run from 5 to 15 lon and 50
to 60 lat.

Gribtocdl say there is a Grid from 51x51 by 0.2 degree step. But the
Grid run from 5 to 15.20 lon and not from 5.00 to 15.00.

Werner,

Thanks for bringing this problem to my attention, it will be fixed in the
next release. Until then, if you delete the 15.20 entry from the lon list
then gribtonc will work fine because it will only have 51 entries. I
tested this using your cdl and grib file. gribtocdl does have it's
problems, in my notes I mention that it creates a cdl as a starting point
that usually needs some modifications.

Thanks,
Robb...

I used decoders-2.4.4.tar.Z from ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/decoders

Output wgrib:

Have you an answer, why gribtocdl done wrong ? I attached the CDL- and
Gribfile.

Thanks Werner
