Re: 19990827: ldmConnect write error

Chris,

The problem is that you installation of perl is not complete, ie

shear:[/usr/local]% /usr/local/ldm/decoders/ldmConnect -e .zone 9908
data/nwx/pu
bprod/zone < data/tmp/FPUS51.KAKQ
Can't locate File/Path.pm in @INC at /usr/local/ldm/decoders/ldmConnect
line 9.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/local/ldm/decoders/ldmConnect
line 9.

It can't find Path.pm in @INC, @INC is:

shear:[/usr/local]% ./perlLib.pl
/opt/LWperl5/lib/perl5/sun4-solaris /opt/LWperl5/lib/perl5
/opt/LWperl5/lib/perl
5/site_perl/sun4-solaris /opt/LWperl5/lib/perl5/site_perl .

and /opt/LWperl5 is not on this machine. You need to install a complete
installation of perl for ldmConnect to work.

Robb...

Robb -

I tried all of your suggestions to no avail. I implemented your
pqact.conf entry and still received the same error in the log file. I am
probably doing something very stupid, but I don't see it. Can you suggest
a course of action? Can I give you temporary access to my machine?

Chris
